TEXT: Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.(1Corinthians 9: 24)
The fulfillment of destiny is God’s desire for you, however, whether or not you fulfill your destiny is your choice to make. And when and how you fulfill your destiny is also your choice to make. You are not too old to begin to make your way to the top, remember Abraham the father of our faith started his journey to a glorious destiny at age seventy five amidst several uncertainties.
Similarly, the story is told of Coloney Sanders of the famous Kentucky fried chicken who did not allow retirement age to deter him from reaching forth for his business and financial destiny, but rather battled hard to start up and become one of the greatest entrepreneurs of a fast food chain.
On the other side of the divide, you can not use young age as an excuse for refusing to battle and reach forth for your glorious destiny; knowing fully well that Joseph and David all became kings at the tender age of thirty. These two Bible characters who experienced myriads of oppositions mainly from the home front are examples to prove to every one that parentage, background, upbringing and negative experiences of life are not enough to hinder any one from fulfill their destiny.
I was also impressed to learn of Kylian Mbappe who though was only nineteen years old, played for the French team in the 2018 world cup and won the trophy for the young best foot baller of the year. If at that tender age he could accomplish that feat, then you really don’t have any excuse to lag behind, go forth for your Laurel in Jesus name! My prayer for you today is that God will help you to discipline your self and fight for your glorious destiny in Jesus name.
